Queensbury to Horton Bank CP

Hardly nothing at all in fields around High Cross Lane; a few small gulls, 1 Pied Wagtail & a Meadow Pipit or three.
I ventured through Shelf Moor and for just over a 20 minute period I got 3 bursts of migrant Redwing coming over from the NE heading SW below Queensbury. Hard to get near accurate numbers so I’ll settle for c75 birds.

Horton Bank Country Park had a female Tufted Duck visitor in with the residents. 15 Moorhen were counted & 3/4 Coot plus a Mute Swan pair.

One of the latter kept grunting at me before revealing Yellow Ring Y200 on the left leg.

Several small gulls present along with 1 adult Herring and a couple of first year large jobs I didn’t have the time nor will to specify 😏.
