A returning male Wheatear was the only bird of this species present. 2 chirping Skylark and several Meadow Pipit throughout & a Blackbird near Blackstone Edge which showed minimal shoreline. A pr Common Sandpiper were here.

Whiteholme Reservoir
Tough going in a strong W’ly wind with birds hard come by ☹️. Quite a lot of beach at Whiteholme but could only muster 3 Common Sandpiper and a Ringed Plover. There were 20 Greylag along with a few 🇨🇦 Geese. 5 BH & 5/6 LBB Gull flew over > NW. Also 4/5 Swift & 5 Pied Wagtail noted.
