Sunday 28th. Walked around the local harbour area and matters improved a bit. Swimming dog flushed a Common Samdpiper.
Usual gulls seen in small numbers. 3 Blacknirds - black bills noted.
Came to a jolting stop when I noticed a Hoopoe on the deck about 5 yards away 👍.
One Sardine Warbler close up and 1 Shag over the sea at distance. House Sparrows and loathesome Woodpigeons 😢
PS Eventide approx 1725 hrs 5 Audouins Gull came by to prospect for scraps on edge of hotel grounds and 6 Shags flew over > SW.
