Porto Colom Walk Saved By Flycatchers

Another depressing start to the morning until I ventured into the patch of coastal trees on the edge of the harbour.

I came to a grinding halt on seeing a small passerine atop a wire railing. My luck was in, the bird gave good views even when it flitted to perch elsewhere. A Red-breasted Flycatcher 😍👍.

3 LBBG ditto Audouins Gull and c10 YLG also seen.

I got back to the hotel and couldn’t help but see another flittering flitter in bushes by the swimming pool.Turned out to be none other than a Pied Flycatcher 😘.
