I checked back to see when Stock Doves started to come into the garden and got back as far as 2010 when a couple came in. Since then the numbers have built up and we've had 20+ a few times this winter. One individual with a damaged leg has been coming in since 2015.
I also discovered that the white-headed Blackbird, which has been around again this winter, has been coming since 2014. Of the 34 Blackbirds the other day, only 3 were females.
