Queensbury to Horton Bank CP

Usual expected birds from Cross Lane onwards to Shelf Moor. 3 Lapwing, 1 Pied Wagtail, 4/5 Skylark, Meadow Pipits, Crows, Jackdaws & Rooks. 

Shelf Moor coughed up 1 each Swallow & Chiffchaff.

Horton Bank Country Park was quiet. Pr Mute Swan, Canadas and usual suspects.

Large gulls alternated between settling on the lake and flying around noisily. 8 LBB & 3 Herring with 1 BH alongside.

Also 1 Jay & 2 singing  Chiffchaff.
