Oats Royd

I could hear a Garden Warbler singing loudly within a couple of minutes of arrival on the scrubland slopes. It wasn't showing loudly though as it stuck to 2/3 Hawthorns below the tops. The bird was vocally enthusiastic when I left nearly two hours later.

2 Whitethroat, 5 Linnet similar WW. 3 Chiffchaff, 1 each Mistle & Song Thrush.

1 each Jay & Kestrel. Pr Tufted Duck & a single Swallow. 5 Blackbird.
