Soil Hill: still no Sedge Warbler. Pr Tufted Duck on the pond. Pr Lapwing disgusted by my presence judging by their behaviour.
5 singing Whitethroat, 3 Swallow, 2 WW.
2 Reed Bunting, 1 Pied Wagtail, few Linnet & the residents.
Ogden Res: 2 Herring Gull alongside a white splattered Cormorant. CS came up to watch and thanks to him I got a Buzzard being rollocked by a Crow. Couple of Blackcap & Chiffchaff, few WW.
There was a 15 minute spell of frenzy by the golf course and Stod Fold. My first and possibly latest ever Spring Swift flew over followed by the Grasshopper Warbler blasting away from exactly the same spot when first found. A Stonechat was in company with a couple of Meadow Pipit and 2/3 Reed Bunting with a Whitethroat nearby. The finale came with a Wheatear eventually permitting a few acceptable photos.
Also a couple WW, Curlew & Linnet. Few Swallow.
