Whiteholme Reservoir Walk

Another long slog today taking in the 4 reservoirs in this area. Only Whiteholme had any shoreline. Blackstone, Light Hazzles & Warland were brimful. Quite sunny but the fresh E'ly kept the temperature cool and the birds even cooler.

6 Wheatear, of which a couple provided decent photographs.

A pr Raven probably the ones from last week were doing the rounds and I managed to get a poor distant shot of one eating carrion.

1 Golden Plover ditto Curlew, 3 Common Sandpiper.

3/4 Pied Wagtail, c10 Skylark & many Meadow Pipit. A pr adult LBBG were parked up on a distant rock or buoy with 3 distant big gulls upstairs. 4/5 Peacock flutterbye and KM of BOG also doing the rounds.
