During breakfast I choose to watch our changing planet First broadcast November 1921. It really focused one’s mind on the stark reality of the situation and even though I’ve been aware of the various influences on the world i.e. coal, plastic waste et cetera it wasn’t until I watch this program that it really hit me.
An example of one of the subjects in the program was written in 1921 in the Scottish highlands the narrator mourns the loss of golden plover green plover Greenshank snipe and a couple of other wading birds that is over 100 years ago and he noticed the loss!
A further example of change was broadcast in 1941 in Scotland again about the herring fleets and the size of the catches not too long after this massive catch was displayed on TV the empty boat syndrome was also broadcast!
It All goes to show what we’ve suspected in recent years was true then the scientists knew the facts but the government suppressed them publishing the information or didn’t do anything about it why well it won’t take any average intelligent person to realise it’s all down to money honey.
Verdict on use of the microphone surprisingly efficient I only had to edit one or two frenetic mistakes which were understandable. Lol the 🎤 chose frenetic instead of phonetic 🤣
