Soil Hill to Ogden Water

Once again I underestimated the sun but much more dangerous I underestimated the lush greenery that has totally hidden the ruts and cavities on Soil Hill. At one stage an acquaintance of mine, Old Age, told me don't go any further Old Pal, backtrack and ensure you can walk another day 😎.

5 Whitethroat, 1 m Wheatear, 3 Skylark, 1 Reed Bunting. A Moorhen has bred in the bottom ditch, one very small fledging seen scurrying away from me. A few Swallows, a few more Meadow Pipit, 1 Greenfinch, couple Goldfinch.

Ogden was dirty filthy rotten with LBBGs; there must have been close to a hundred of  'em. A couple of Herring too and notably the BHG numbers are building up. A couple of Cormorant present, but despite the ample shoreline there was nothing on it.

Couple of Chiffchaff ditto Blackcap in the trees. 7 Canada hanging about feeding corner. Elsewhere evidence heard of a rather sensitive breeding denizen.
