Usual Route Reversal

Not by intention, by circumstances too boring to explain, I started this late morning session at Mixenden Res.
Only Canoes and Canadas on the water but I did get a few LTT in the 🌳s.

Just 1 House Martin & 3/4 Swallows at Stod Fold (soon to suffer from planned housing development) and a Jay plus a WW at Carrs Beck.

On arrival at Ogden Water, 2 Curlew flew over the promenade heading W. Their short bills suggesting this years juveniles.
4 Tufted Duck were present and appeared to be a mix of f/j and eclipse plumage.

I fell into the YLG trap again and was proved wrong when a distant gull came ashore with pink legs 😞.
Cormorant numbers had increased to 10 birds.
