A Different Route

This morning I decided to visit a local area I last went to 4 years ago. It also has a stretch of water but once again it was basically a case of the bird species being no different from my usual walks.
Kestrel, Reed Bunting, 2 House Martin, few Swallows, 4 Linnet, Jay, GSW.

Migrant Warblers: 3 Chiffchaff, 2 Blackcap ditto Whitethroat & several WWs including the juvenile below.

Some 32 Canada were on the water, but gull numbers are still poor with just 4 BHG overhead briefly.
A Buzzard appeared for a few minutes giving me the opportunity for a few bursts of the button.

Other birds: 3/4 Blackbird, 2 Song Thrush ditto Mistle Thrush, Goldfinches, 2 Wren, Woodpiggies, Caawvids.
