Soil Hill and Ogden

Soil Hill wasn't up to much other than one decent experience. Not a single bird on the very bottom and just 1 each Blackbird, Robin Kestrel & Reed Bunting along with 4 Meadow Pipit on the tops. I even missed DJS's 18 PFG after I left him up there.

Ogden Res started off very quiet but it did improve at the end, again in the  promenade area.

I came across 6 Bullfinch which were very nervous flying around all over the place. I suspected possible Northern and subsequent investigation does appear to show the plumage detail although the photographs leave much to be desired. Pity I couldn't take any measurements!

There were also 1 GSW, 5/6 LTT Blue & Coal Tits knocking around plus 2 Jay ditto Mistle Thrush & 1 Grey Wagtail.

One of the BHG was sporting a partial breeding plumage hood and a Herring Gull was on the depth guage
