A Few Good Birds

Soil Hill just produced the standard Curlew, Lapwing, Linnet, Skylark, Meadow Pipit also pr Stock Dove, 1 Greenfinch & pr Blackbird (I did double check).

Ogden Res: 4 Teal, pr Redshank, 1 Moorhen, 3 each Tufted Duck & LBBG.

Brief call from Tawny Owl. Pr Stock Dove, 1 Nuthatch, 3 Chiffchaff and my first Irish Phylloscopus of the year, namely Will O'Warbler.

At least 15 Curlew at Stod Fold with a male Reed Bunting further up the hill.

Mixenden Res: c11 large gulls. Pr Great - crested Grebe, pr Greylag. Pr Redshank flying around. 1 Moorhen & 3 Chiffchaff.

Other: 1 LEO in flight. 2 Barn Owl. 1 Small Tortoiseshell. Mine is still hibernating in the house, I should check it's pulse.
