Low Moor Dams

1105-1305 hours. Harold Park lake was the quieter of the two stretches of water but it did have c20 LBBG moving over > NW. A single Herring Gull was also present as were a few BHG.

Park Dam provided more interest and some photo opportunities but whoever took these needs a reet kickin.

I was more than happy to get a late Swift as I've not had a September bird for a few years. 2 House Martin were flying over the water at the same time.

14 Tufted Duck seen along with 4 GC Grebe & 2 Little Grebe, the latter being one adult and a juvenile.

5 Mute Swan, plenty of Coot, 6 Moorhen, Blackbird, Dunnock. A Painted Lady was one of just a few butterflies seen.

Nearer home: 1 Swallow, 5 BHG, c22 Goldfinch & c12 Mistle Thrush in flight.
