The golf course did at least lubricate my tear ducts with it's lack of birds. It's just a shame I'd left my piece of rope at home (OK I know there are no really tall trees there). 1 Meadow Pipit ditto Great Tit, c12 unid distant finches mebbe Linnet and one far distant calling Curlew.
I gave the reservoir a miss. To sum up in one word Phuckin Awful!
