Phew! Arrived at Ogden Res at 0947 hrs to find the Little Egret stalking the N shoreline. There was just one other birder from Shelf present and we both took advantage of the photo opportunities it offered us.
Apart from the usual Gulls there were several Swallows and a few Mipits knocking about plus 2 Goldcrest.

The stretch across the golf course to Mixenden produced 62 Canada, 2 Mipits, 1 each House Martin, Pied Wagtail, Common Gull, GSW, Chiffchaff & Nuthatch. Things improved 100 percent on the water; a pr Tufted Duck & 1 Mallard.
