Mytholmroyd Canal Walk

Messes Messrs DW et DM were on the canal back to Halifax this morning and they got some decent birds e.g a Kingfisher at Copley and a seemingly emaciated Little Grebe elsewhere. The bird, despite it's underweight appearance kept diving frequently. Makes you think how much these freezing temperatures are affecting the well being of wildlife.
