Hollingworth Lake

Courtesy of DP looking for the Pectoral Sandpiper. The bird had been flushed apparently by a dog walker so we missed out. We don't know if it went back to the USA of course.

A compensation on a personal basis was my first Yellow Wagtail for the year, probably the last also.

Numerous Lapwing, several LBB & BH Gulls plus a couple of Common. A Grey Heron had a lurk here and there.

Lots of activity from House Martins & Swallows with a few Sand Martin thrown in. A couple of Pied Wagtail, Linnet and some Goldfinch.
