Park Dam: 3 Little & 2 GC Grebe. Good to see 10 Swift as the countdown to their disappearance will start next week. 1 Swallow & 3 House Martin.
9 Coot, 1 Moorhen, 5 Canada, 1 Kestrel. Many House Sparrows but not a squeak from any woody types.
4 Speckled Wood were doing the rounds and a female Emperor Dragonfly. I found a Wasp's nest but discretion being the better part of valor, I decided against risking my fingers, eyes, nostrils etc.
My next job is to see how the Small Tortoiseshell roosting in my stairway is getting along.
