Same Old Hill

A brisk W/NW'ly ensured nothing exotic turned up on Soil Hill this morning. In fact the variety of birds was similar to the recent visits, minus one or two.
Pr RLP, drumming Snipe, 2 Reed Bunting, Lapwings, Curlews.

There were loads of Woodpigeon and Starling down at the very bottom of the N slope. I believe they were taking advantage of the recently rain softened mud and feeding. Once again Linnets were all over the shop. 4 large gulls overhead, 2 were definitely LBBG.
6 Blackbird, 5 WW, 3 Whitethroat. Found my second, fresher Owl sp. pellet.

The mid-day rains ensured I avoided Roper Lane & Old Guy Rd.

A passing thought: Ain't it great to be confined from living your life, having committed no crime?
