There was lots of water about too with 3/4 inches flowing merrily over Skirden Bridge. Nearby a tree had decided vertical growth was passè and took up a horizontal position across the path.
An hour long spell produced singles of GC Grebe, Grey Heron, Redshank, LBBG, Blackcap & WW. 2 Blackbird, 17 Canada & 3 Cormorant.
