Ogden was very quiet overall. Gulls down to 14 incl a couple of Herring. A couple Curlew heard in Back Lane, pr Moorhen. 1 GSW, couple singing Song Thrush. A single Skylark on the golf course.
Stod Fold had 2/3 Curlew calling also a Green Woodpecker. 3 Reed Bunting, 1 calling Snipe & a noisy RLP at Hunter Hill bottom.
I found a deposit of Frog Spawn in the middle of a field so I picked up most of it and transferred it to a pool where I found a lot more evidence of froggy philandering.
Mixenden not worth a mention.
A pr Robin were giving it big licks this afternoon; chasing each other around out back and in the gardens.
